WHAT should people do when they have too much money? For most, it probably involves something like fine dining, some luxury brand purchase, or indulge in any activity every normal but rich people would do.
But for one person, it’s about hiring a hapless Grab driver by the hour and instructing the poor person to make fruitless spins within the city limits.
In a viral post on X by netizen Syazwan Zanini, it was stated that he incurred a bill totalling RM135 for four hours of Grab service, making the driver turn into places he had never been to.
Reading the post, we are not sure whether to laugh or cry. But at least the driver was paid.

Syazwan Zanini further provided instructions on how netizens could do the same in an illustration. “Click on rent by the hour,” he said.
He added that the driver had been ordered to enter a petrol station. Apparently he even gave the man RM50 to fill up his petrol tank and a further RM50 to purchase food by the side of the road.
“It’s great. I get to talk and exchange opinions while having a new friend,” he said as an afterthought.
Why did he do it? Apparently Syazwan Zanini was bored. Unsurprisingly, netizens were tickled pink by his antics. The comment section was equally hilarious.
One netizen said that when he was bored, all he could do was sleep which was free.
Also, we can see a possibly dangerous Grab trend developing, spearheaded by no other than Syazwan Zanini.
Most netizens, however, pointed towards his abundance of disposable income as well as placing him among the T20 catgeory.
As for us, we applaud any individual who celebrate or express their unique individuality as long as they do not harm or cause inconvenience to others.
Although, we would also like to point out the huge list of beneficial things RM135 could accomplish. Regardless, money is never wasted, merely redistributed. —Dec 3, 2024
