EARLIER today, Health Ministry’s CovidNow website indicated 37 deaths for yesterday, bringing total fatality to 30,147.
“Of the current active cases, 506 patients are still in receiving treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU), with 270 of them in need of ventilator support,” the site indicated.
As of yesterday, Malaysia recorded 5,732 infections, bringing the cumulative total to 2,597,043.
In a tweet, Health Ministry director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah also announced that 5,082 patients have been cured, with the total discharged now stands at 2,503,427.
Terengganu recorded the highest death toll with seven deaths, followed by Negeri Sembilan (5), Sabah (5) and Kelantan (4). – Nov 25, 2021.
