EVEN with the extension of the full movement control order (FMCO), the number of new COVID-19 cases is still considerably high, clocking in at 5,244 today (including seven imported cases).
Apart from that, Selangor is still the highest contributing state in the country, with 2,001 cases.
More shocking, there were 83 COVID-19 deaths today, adding the total to 4,637.
Although there had been 6,372 patient recoveries within the last 24 hours (total 645,553), the number of active cases in the country reached 60,816.
Out of that, 879 of the patients are admitted into intensive care units, with 433 of them in need of ventilator support. – June 23, 2021
