FORMER health minister Datuk Dr Chua Jui Meng, the country’s longest-serving health minister, died today.He was the Health Minister for nine years from 1995 to 2004 and was the former Member of Parliament for Bakri where he served for five terms.News portal FreeMalaysiaToday said an MCA source revealed that Chua had a heart attack a week ago and had been hospitalised since then.Chua was with MCA from 1976 to 2009 but left MCA to join PKR in July 2009 and was appointed Johor PKR chief. – Dec 3, 2023
