THE highly anticipated reopening of Genting SkyWorlds theme park is finally happening, with ticket sales being made available for online purchase via its website and mobile app starting tomorrow (Feb 4) at 10am.
Slotted to hold a soft opening next week (Feb 8), Genting SkyWorlds is offering a 20% discount (from its published rate) for bookings that are made from Feb 8 to March 31, 2022.
During the soft opening period, there will be complimentary virtual queue (VQ) and Photo+ access available, where guests can download and share unlimited digital photo contents.
Guests are encouraged to download the Genting SkyWorlds theme park mobile app as it will provide visitors with a comprehensive guide to the theme park with real-time information, allowing for better navigation and a virtual preview of the park prior to arrival.
Among other features, guests will be able to check wait times for rides, attractions and shows, receive promotional offers and discount vouchers; discover dining, shopping, games, and more.
Built with an investment of over US$800 mil, this game-changing new themed attraction will put Malaysia and Pahang on the world tourism map. The Genting SkyWorlds mobile app also features virtual queue (VQ) technology that can help reduce long waits in physical lines of the rides, giving guests the freedom to do what they want at a time of their choosing.
However, according to Resorts World Genting vice president and head of theme park operations Greg Pearn, opening a theme park during the pandemic has been a tough challenge, causing a small selection of the attractions still requiring a bit more time to be completed.
Built across 26 acres at an elevation of 6,000 feet above sea level, Genting SkyWorlds Theme Park will take guests on a sky-high adventure through nine movie and adventure inspired ‘worlds’, incorporating original intellectual properties (IPs), as well as movie-themed fun and excitement across its world-class rides and attractions. – Feb 3, 2022
