THE year-end holidays are upon us, and there’s no better time to plan a trip to Sarawak than with the “Jom Ke Sarawak” campaign.
With over 16 exciting packages to choose from, the “Jom Ke Sarawak” interstate campaign features trips throughout Sarawak’s southern, central and northern region starting as low as RM176 per person for a three-day, two-night stay package.
Bookings can be made for a minimum two individuals and is available from now until Dec 5 through the Shopee Malaysia mobile application. The travel period starts from now until Dec 15.
Fully-vaccinated domestic travellers from West Malaysia and Sabah will not have to undergo quarantine or swab tests to enter Sarawak.
They will just need to apply for ‘Enter Sarawak’ prior to taking their flight and attach relevant documents such as identification details, vaccination certificates, information on accommodations or package and fill in the e-Health declaration form upon arrival.
Launched in October, the campaign is jointly organised by the Sarawak Tourism Board (STB), Sarawak Tourism Federation (STF), Association of Sarawak Inbound Agencies (ASIA) and Shopee Malaysia.
“We are calling on more tourists to grab this opportunity to visit Sarawak and enjoy all that we have to offer,” commented STB’s CEO Sharzede Datuk Salleh Askor.
“After a trying couple of years amid the pandemic, it is indeed an opportune time for all Malaysians to take a much-needed break and enjoy a trip with their loved ones to Sarawak.
Collaborating with Shopee Malaysia also provides travellers with a more convenient platform to make their holiday plans with attractive packages and discounted rates.”
