AFTER Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s remarks to PAS leader Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang to stop resorting to ‘kolot’ (old-fashioned) and ‘jumud’ (backward) narratives when criticising the capability of the unity government, now netizens on Twitter are educating the Opposition MP.
Hadi discredited the federal government because a Muslim-majority political coalition does not lead the administration.
He also said that for stability in the country, Malay Muslims must lead the government, then will it attain unity and stability.
However, user @Naven_Selva believes the majority should not be separated by race.
Majority should not be separated by race, majority should be separated by the level of education, jobs, earning, job creation skills and wealth creation for the nation overall, that way, we the people will know who is best to lead this country based on education and competency.

On the other hand, most users were in a state of disbelief that Hadi is still looking at the unity government as a non-Muslim-led government.
Some are asking the Islamist leader whether Anwar is not a Muslim. Others are saying he should get his math right.
Moreover, user @rudy_ar75 added:
Ya Allah..mmg betul lah tp apakah kebodohan ni di ulang2? Skrg ni kan kerajaan yg ada majoriti…2/3 lagi. Apa lagi? Tak mahu tgk negara ke bergerak ke hadapan ke? Klu fikirkan rakyat, move on lah..Tggu pru16 pulak.

“Ya Allah . It’s true but why is this stupidity repeated? Right now this is the government with the majority, 2/3 more. What else? Don’t you want to see the country move forward? If you think about the people, move on. Wait until the 16th General Election.”
Another user stressed about the math in the Parliament.
Ini la bahananya bila matematik fail. Tak cukup pun dia kata lebih dari cukooooop. Parti dia majoriti dlm pembangkang pun dia bagi orang lain jadi ketua. Takbir! pic.twitter.com/8016O4cY6G

“This is the issue when you fail your maths. Even when it’s not sufficient, he said it is more than enough (concerning Hadi’s statement that Perikatan Nasional had enough seats to form the government after the last general elections). His party is the majority in the opposition, yet he let someone else be the opposition leader. ”
As usual, no Twitter users showed support for the PAS leader’s statement. Even on Facebook, users are not happy with Hadi’s statement that it is easy for Malays to forget. – June 4, 2023
