JAKARTA: Indonesia’s foreign exchange reserves rose by US$1.2 bil in June to US$131.72 bil, mainly due to the government’s Islamic bond issuance, the central bank said on Tuesday.
June’s reserve level was equal to 8.4 months of imports, Bank Indonesia (BI) said in a statement.
The June level was the biggest since January 2018’s US$131.98 bil, which was the highest on record. – July 7, 2020, Reuters
