INSPECTOR-General of Police (IGP) Tan Sri Razarudin Husain said the police arrested a 36-year-old Israeli on March 27, two weeks after he entered Malaysia through the Kuala Lumpur International Airport on March 12.
The suspect who entered as a tourist was carrying several firearms and claimed to have entered the country to assassinate a fellow countryman.
“Interrogation against the suspect revealed that he had entered Malaysia using a French passport, and upon further questioning, he produced an Israeli passport.
“The suspect claims to have entered Malaysia to seek out another countryman to kill, but we are not buying his story,” Razarudin told the media at a press conference.
Now, a Malaysian couple was apprehended for allegedly supplying firearms to an Israeli man arrested at a Jalan Ampang hotel. The couple, aged 42 and 40, were detained at a Ramadan bazaar in Kuala Selangor. Following their arrest, police searched their home and discovered a gun in their car.
The male suspect is suspected of providing six firearms to the Israeli man, who entered Malaysia using a French passport earlier this month.
Netizens are asking for answers from the authorities. They want to know how a man carrying six guns and 200 bullets could enter the country without detection.
A few users on X are also asking the authorities to explain how the man could pass through customs to bring his weapons into the country. Something that many think is unimaginable.
The police must investigate thoroughly how this man can pass through immigration and customs.

One user said the KDN should take this matter very seriously. “They should get the customs and immigration departments to tighten up the screening at all our country’s entry points!!!”

Some users are saying that an attack similar to the one perpetrated in Moscow, Russia, could have happened here. – March 30, 2024
If not mistaken, there were cases where Israelite came to Malaysia using another country’s passport.
Kudos to PDRM for this, but this is very concerning. An attack (or several) can happened just like in Russia. Hopefully all perpetrator apprehended.
