I AM solidly solvent as an entrepreneur in Malaysia. From the last 50 years of my experiences, I have accumulated tangible and intangible assets.
I don’t choose to be bankrupt. I don’t want to be bankrupt and I never declared myself to be bankrupt or filed for bankruptcy by myself.
As a bankrupt, you can’t contribute to the society and to the country.
The reason and objective I call for today’s media conference is because my news yesterday (April 12) has gone viral on social media that it has disturbed the peace and harmony of our Malaysian society as well as affected a lot of my friends who are very concerned about me.
I hope with today’s explanations, the RM3 mil which is the root cause of I being declared bankrupt (see below) is all about my misfortune of having to meet a greedy character in my life.
Following the Jan 26 event (see below), a smart US lawyer broke his promise with his original lawyers and changed to a new lawyer on April 10.
Who was the person who downloaded documents from the Department of Insolvency on April 10 for RM100? I leave it for the Malaysian media to judge.
Who is the one using this dirty trick instead of following the law of Malaysia? I am solidly solvent but I was attacked by a foreign citizen as a citizen of Malaysia.
Based on the fact that I was attacked on social media which is not in the best interest of the country, I have written to the Malaysian government to allow my lawyer to continue negotiating with Patrick Healy’s lawyers for an amicable set aside order.
If this fails, I will file my Statement of Affairs to the director-general of the Department of Insolvency by depositing RM3 mil cash for the Malaysian Department of Insolvency (MDI) to deal with Healy. — April 13, 2023
