TEALIVE has integrated its Tealive 3.0 concept store into Affin Bank Bhd’s 111th branch, making it the first branch with such a unique concept.
Located within the Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Puncak Alam campus, the branch allows customers to perform banking activities while chilling out in a café-like environment.
The Tealive 3.0 format features a dedicated bakery corner, Tealive Eats, and self-order standees at the entrance where customers are able order and pay online before going in and collecting their orders.
“We hope Tealive will assist the Bank to attract younger consumers with our integrated lifestyle tea menu while creating a conducive social meeting place for them,” said Loob Holding founder and CEO Bryan Loo.
He added that while there may be existing cafes in bank branches, but none of them are dedicated to serving bubble tea and other made-to-order lifestyle drinks like Tealive.
Meanwhile, Affin Bank Bhd president and group CEO Datuk Wan Razly Abdullah Wan Ali said that the introduction of this new concept is timely and in line with the bank’s vision of becoming a more progressive bank to cater for the youth segment of Malaysia.
To celebrate the launch and collaboration, Tealive is offering a 20% rebate for customers that use the AFFIN BANK card, while UiTM staff and students are given a 10% discount at the UiTM Puncak Alam campus outlet for 2021. – April 8, 2021
