KUALA LUMPUR: AirAsia X Bhd (AAX) has formed a board committee comprising non-executive members mainly to review allegations concerning AAX.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, it said the committee would take any necessary action based on the review, which includes the appointment of an independent expert.
“An updated announcement will be made upon the finalisation of the appointment,” it added.
On Monday, parent company AirAsia Group Bhd announced it had set up a similar committee comprising non-executive members of the board.
The development follows allegations of bribery and corruption involving Airbus and the two airlines. – Feb 5, 2020, Bernama
