MALAYSIA Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Association (MACRA) had given four units of 1.5HP portable air-conditioners, four units of air-coolers and one unit of 150L chest freezer to assist Hospital Ampang in its continuous effort to fight Covid-19.
Midea Scott & English Sdn Bhd donated four units of air-coolers and one unit of 150L chest freezer worth RM2,100. The remaining equipment requested which are four units of 1.5HP portable air-conditioners come from part of the RM40,000 raised to-date from council members of the association and well-wishers.
MACRA president Datuk Andy Kwan said: “This is the second batch of equipment dispatched to hospitals in Malaysia. MACRA has been approached by the Ministry of Health to assist hospitals with the donation of ACMV equipment. Total equipment required comprised more than 500 units.”
MACRA had previously given 40 units of 1.0HP portable air-conditioners and 16 units of air-coolers to assist Hospital Kuala Lumpur. — April 13, 2020
