Muhyiddin tests negative for Covid 19, on 14-day quarantine

Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has tested negative for Covid-19 and is on the mandatory 14 days’ self-isolation beginning this evening, the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) said in a statement today.

This comes after an officer who attended the post-Cabinet meeting on Wednesday (May 20) had been tested positive for the coronavirus.

“All members of the meeting have also been ordered to get tested and undergo self-isolation at their own homes for 14 days starting today,” PMO said.

Muhyiddin’s office also assured that all meetings held practised social distancing and implemented strict hygiene measures at all times. – May 22, 2020
