IT IS unthinkable how Manchester-based fugitive blogger Raja Petra Kamarudin (RPK) is such a gifted storyteller to be able to present an original satire-rich “bedtime children story” that must be music to the ears of the opposition bloc but so despicable to Malaysian – all in a sheer one-minute and 38 seconds.
The so-called bedtime story revolved around a man in ancient England who has committed such a terrible crime that he was brought before the judge who found him guilty of his crime.
“You have committed such a terrible crime that I have got to impose the maximum sentence that the law allows, hence I’m going to sentence you to hell,” so said the judge to which the main replied:
“Huh, England has already abolished the death sentence. How are you going to send me to hell if you cannot kill me? The judge said I’m not going to send you to that hell but I’m going to send you to Malaysia.”
On hearing this, the man, according to the Perikatan Nasional (PN)-slant blogger, broke down and begged for his life.
“Your honour, please have mercy on me. Please don’t send me to Malaysia. I would rather you hang me rather than you send me to Malaysia which is a place worse than hell. And that, boys and girls is the end of your bedtime story today,” concluded RPK.
Malaysians who are familiar with the hidden agenda of the mercenary blogger would be able to relish RPK’s bedtime story with a pinch of salt, notably by enjoying the storyline minus the message that the former Selangor royalty member wishes to convey.
Interestingly, RPK was more open in an earlier video clip whereby he ticked off Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim for likening the Israeli attack on the Gaza Strip to atomic bombing of Hiroshima during the Second World War (WW2).
“Anwar must learn a little about international diplomacy or ask others to speak on his behalf for that is a major diplomatic blunder indeed,” chided RPK in the 17:07 YouTube video entitled “Raja-Raja Melayu Risau Malaysia Gostan” (literally, Malay Rulers are Afraid Malaysia will Retreat).
“This is because Hiroshima and Nagasaki are one of a kind … that time, the mission was to kill as many Japanese as possible so that Japan would surrender while as many American lives could be saved.
“Hence the flawed comparison is an insult to both Japan and Palestine … if Malaysia regards the Israeli action as inhuman, then is Anwar also implying that the American action was cruel and inhuman?”
Added RPK who loves taking a jibe at Anwar: “Addressing an international forum is different from speaking at Cherok To’Kun (Anwar’s hometown) for international diplomacy is of a different level entirely.
“Anwar is good at speaking to villagers whereby he’s able to dramatise an act like in the Tamil cinematography but certainly not when you are addressing world leaders.” – Nov 7, 2023
