Netizens: How will jobless Tun M fund his RM150 mil lawsuit against Anwar

MALAYSIANS took former premier Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s RM150 mil lawsuit against Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim with a dose of surprise and a lot of anger. The former PM is suing the current one for RM150 mil.

The ex-PM is suing Anwar for accusing him of enriching himself and his family members during his tenure in power.

Days after Dr Mahathir announced the lawsuit, it appears that netizens are not happy with him, especially with his controversial statements. Reactions on Twitter show how Dr Mahathir has lost his aura and is probably one of the most unpopular political figures in the country.

He is one of the most criticised, undoubtedly.

It seems that others are excited to see what will happen to the former PM.

Many of the older Malaysians remember him as someone who had a tight grip on the country for decades.

However, now in his old age, he is declining massively in popularity, and many speculate that he will not even win this case.

Nevertheless, some users poked fun at Anwar too. A netizen questioned how Anwar would fund the lawyers.
