Neutrovis: Donning face mask that cares for health and style

GIVEN that COVID-19 spreads through respiratory droplets, wearing a medical-grade face mask is essential to provide the ultimate protection and eliminates the spread of these viruses.

After all, studies have revealed that hundreds of droplets ranging from 20 to 500 micrometres are released into the air each time a person speaks a simple phrase.

Many people are unaware that disposable masks are only suited for industrial use as it only serves the function of filtering dust particles and cannot prevent the spread of any viruses.

On the contrary, medical face masks with high bacteria filtration efficiency (BFE) and Particle Filtration Efficiency (PFE) readings are able to prevent the spread of COVID-19 because of its ability to block out any bacteria in the size of 1-5 microns and to filter out any viable and nonviable particles sized 0.1-1 micron.

Earlier this month, premium medical face mask brand Neutrovis launched its ‘Mask On, Spread Hope’ campaign with the Ministry of Domestic Trade & Consumer Affairs to educate the public on the importance of choosing the right face masks and the differences between disposable masks and medical masks.

Topping the charts by achieving more than 98% BFE and exceeding 96% PFE, the Neutrovis premium face masks are also CE-certified and meet the EN14683 standards.

“Neutrovis puts special care into the usability of these face masks by utilising ultra-gentle earloops for added comfort, as well as extra soft premium non-woven breathable fabric to reduce skin irritations, making them suitable to be used for extended periods,” managing director of home-grown Maystar Beauty Sdn Bhd, the manufacturer of Neutrovis Zayn Puah pointed out.

Above all else, Neutrovis has an anti-germ capability to provide the highest possible anti-germ standards while at the same time, fulfils the needs of skin-sensitive and image-conscious consumers.

“Neutrovis will always stay true to its promise of selling effective, premium medical face masks at affordable prices,” Puah commented.

“This has led to Neutrovis entering the Malaysia Book of Records for “Most Medical Face Masks Sold in a Year” (total: 195,131,200 pieces)”.

As face masks are a mandatory part of our daily wear, more people are looking towards masks with designs to complement their apparel.

Hence, Neutrovis has catered to this demand by developing masks with both trendy designs and, at the same time, certified for medical use, which in this case is to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

“In doing so, Neutrovis offers users freedom in the sense that they are able to express their style and fashion by matching their masks with their outfits while having peace of mind that they and their loved ones are well protected,” enthused Puah.

In conjunction with the recently concluded Hari Raya, for example, Maystar Beauty has rolled out the Neutrovis Hari Raya Edition face masks which comprises the Gaya Raya Series (Lilac Dream & Royal Green) and Jom Raya Series (Blue Moon and Festive Green) which were priced at RM34.90/box of 50 pieces of face masks (70 sen/mask).
