Over 16k vaccinated at PLUS office, Khairy praises the team

PLUS Malaysia Bhd (PLUS) managed to vaccinate over 16,000 people, locals and foreigners, within two weeks after its head office was turned into an Integrated Vaccine Administration Centre (PPVI).

Speaking of the matter, its managing director Datuk Azlam Ismail said his company offered its premises in an attempt to help the Government to vaccinate as many people as possible.

“Our core mission is to ensure everyone reaches home to their loved ones safely. Therefore, we put in all our effort to achieve this aspiration.

“And I hope that our effort will also bring life back to small businesses and in turn, Malaysia’s socio-economic sector can recover as soon as possible,” he said, in a statement.

On related matter, COVID-19 vaccination coordinating minister Khairy Jamaluddin, in his visit to PLUS PPVI, lauded the company and its medical partners, Primer Cherang and ProtectHealth, for participating in the Government’s effort to inoculate as many people as possible against COVID-19.

“PLUS has proven its commitment to the Government in getting as many people vaccinated as possible. As of yesterday, about 24 million people have gotten themselves vaccinated in the country, which includes those receiving their first shot and second shot.

“And PLUS had contributed to this achievement, which will help us achieve the objectives under the National Recovery Plan (NRP) sooner than expected,” he mentioned.

On that note, the Rembau MP praised Azman and his team for making the project a success, together with his partners.

“I was told that the quantity of vaccines given daily are 2,000 doses and given the efficiency of the team, I’m confident the capacity will get doubled soon,” Khairy concluded. -Aug 8, 2021.
