PAS young women’s wing leader offers 6 reasons why Anwar is a ‘talkative’ hill myna

A PAS Ameerah Malaysia (young women’s wing) leader has taken a jab at Prime Minister (PM) Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim by echoing the Islamist party’s deputy president Datuk Seri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man who has likened the PM as “a common hill myna (burung tiung) which is clever at talking”.

This is not surprising as the Pakatan Harapan (PH) chairman has been, since the formation of the unity government, using his verbal skills to embark on a “psywar” (psychology warfare) to discredit Perikatan Nasional (PN), according to Ameerah Fans Club deputy exco member Nik Nor Nadhirah Nik Ismail.

To support her view, Nik Nor Nadhirah has outlined six instances of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) chairman “not putting his money where his mouth is”.

  1. “As finance minister, I have documents proving that PN is sponsored by gambling companies.”

“Firstly, he (Anwar) has implied that some of PN’s election funds came from gambling companies,” she claimed in an opinion piece featured in HarakahDaily. “However, until today, Anwar’s expectations have yet to be proven. Prosecution was not carried out and even documents were not submitted.”

  1. “Don’t challenge because there are indeed some processes that are not followed.”

Secondly, Anwar alleged that there were violations in the awarding of contracts amounting to RM600 bil without tender during the PN era.

“Anwar’s claims were refuted by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) itself,” argued Nik Nor Nadhirah.

“Preliminary investigations found that the total amount involved was estimated at RM530 bil. Based on that amount, only RM92.5 bil involved government funds while the balance RM437.5 bil is not from the government. Thus, the focus of MACC’s investigation will be directed at funds amounting to RM92.5 bil.”

  1. “Choose people with integrity. Don’t choose people who steal.”

Third, Anwar had said that he would not tolerate corruption at all under his administration.

“But now Anwar is also the person who has created history by being a PM who has appointed an individual with 47 criminal charges of corruption as Deputy Prime Minister,” noted Nik Nor Nadhirah.

  1. “He (Tengku Zafrul) is the minister who looks after the banks, not the people.”

Now Anwar has also appointed Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz as the International Trade and Industry Minister.

  1. “Now the new generation, can talk, can argue. I’m not a dictator.”

Again, Anwar has also emerged as the most popular individual among government leaders to sue those who disagree with him.

  1. “Give to his children, his wife, his son-in-law. Is this government his father’s property?”

In this regard, Nik Nor Nadhirah claimed that Anwar has also created history as a father who appointed his own daughter as a senior economic/financial advisor to the Finance Minister (Nurul Izzah has since stepped down apparently due to public pressure).

“Anwar had previously said he rejected the culture of cronyism and nepotism,” revealed the Johor Ameerah director. “Does politics mean enriching our relatives and clans? Politics without a basis to protect the interests of the common people?”

In essence, Nik Nor Nadhirah quantified that the six examples are good enough lessons “for us not to be obsessed with this 10th Prime Minister (PMX)”.

“What PMX says after this will definitely be doubted by Malaysians, their party supporters, political analysts and foreign investors who are always watching the policies of this country until they are proven true,” she added. – March 6, 2203
