Serba all out to promote its aerospace prowess at Dubai Expo 2020

VENTURING outside the realm of its traditional oil & gas (O&G) industry, Serba Dinamik Holdings Bhd will leverage its participation at Dubai Expo 2020 by showcasing its abilities in the aerospace industry.

This is in accordance with the company’s belief that it is able to elevate the industry to the next level while at the same time support Malaysia’s inspiration to develop a formidable aerospace business.

“The aerospace industry which comes under the wing of our wholly-owned Serba Dinamik Group Bhd is capable of generating economic growth and producing highly skilled workers,” opined the company’s group managing director and CEO Datuk Mohd Abdul Karim Abdullah.

“As we progress with the adoption of Fourth Industrial Revolution (IR 4.0) which is in line with the 12th Malaysia Plan (12MP), Serba Dinamik will strive to produce sustainable value by constructing a sustainability framework while integrating information technology (IT) and aerospace business as part of its core business.”

More broadly, the global integrated O&G service provider has become a premier partner for Malaysia Pavilion at the expo in sync with the company’s objective to exhibit its technologies and innovation capabilities to the world. The event will be held from October 1 this year to March 31, 2022.

“Through its participation in Dubai Expo 2020, Serba Dinamik aims to capitalise on the event as a springboard to access global markets and boosting our business growth,” noted Abdul Karim.

As a business entity, he said Serba Dinamik is looking forward to establishing new business relationships and strengthening the existing ones at Dubai Expo 2020.

“Malaysia Pavilion emphasises the nation’s commitment and direction for sustainable development which strikes a balance between socio-economics progress and environmental status including the application of technologies, innovations, and renewable energy which are in line with the theme of ‘Energising Sustainability’,” he pointed out.

With its infrastructure, technologies, and collaborations, Abdul Karim hopes that Dubai Expo 2020 will serve as a model for a viable future by establishing sustainable benchmarks and leaving a significant legacy for future generations as the world seeks to achieve a cleaner, safer and healthier future.

Malaysia’s participation at Dubai Expo 2020 will be led by the Science, Technology and Innovation Ministry (MOSTI) with the Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Centre (MGTC) as the implementing agency.
