Sustainable lights

Award-winning young British lighting brand Tala aims to accelerate the low carbon economy with thoughtful product design, LED technology and transparent practices, and a variety of products from functional to decorative light bulbs.

As Tala implements the latest energysaving technology, the company champions materials and techniques that have minimal impact on the environment. Not your regular light bulb, the Tala is built to last 10 years or more which is 15 times longer than a traditional bulb.

Guided by the founding promise of “conservation through beauty”, Tala believes that beautiful objects and efficient technology belong together. The extensive collection of light bulb products is made in-house starting from the research and development to method selection and materials. The sustainable business starts with the Classic Collection inspired by the Edison design created over 100 years ago. The Feature Collection is an upgraded version of the classic range giving a statement with LED lights that will illuminate the interiors of residential homes, designer studios, stores, cafes, restaurants and hotels. Continuing the journey of creating a different bulb, the Voronoi Range (part of Signature Collection) consists of three ranges, evolving from 12.5cm x 17.5cm to the world’s largest sculptural lamp which measures 40cm x 20cm.

The brand intends to stay through with its promises, and Tala’s sustainability agenda is represented in every detail included the Ten Trees programme – for every 200 units sold, 10 trees will be planted in support of reforestation efforts in the UK and US.

Tala is available at the Gudang, concept store located on the Second Floor, Bangsar Shopping Centre. For more on Tala, visit www.gudanghome.com.
