The disbelief of Bossku ditching his law firm yet Zaid still all over defending his ex-client

IT seems that former de-facto law minister Datuk Zaid Ibrahim who was ticked off by human rights activist and lawyer Siti Kasim for fanning 3R (race, religion and royal institution) sentiments in the Bossku royal addendum saga is building a big pool of detractors with his seemingly aggressive Madani-bashing antic.

Following Monday’s (Jan 6) favourable Court of Appeal outcome with incarcerated former premier Datuk Seri Najib Razak inching closer to house arrest after overcoming the odds to secure a touted “royal addendum victory”, a somehow emboldened Zaid is seemingly all out after the blood of the Madani government.

Amid his branding of Prime Minister Datuk Seti Anwar Ibrahim as loser and that the reformist PMX should step down given that the “royal addendum existed”, pro-Madani backer 𝖠𝖿𝗋𝖺𝗅’𝗌 (@AfralAbdullah) has rebuked the ‘born-again’ UMNO member whose turncoat tendencies are well-known.

The 1,001-curiosity surrounding raised by 𝖠𝖿𝗋𝖺𝗅’𝗌 is why is Zaid so fond of defending the former UMNO president when Najib even discharged his law firm Messrs Zaid Suflan TH Liew and Partners from representing him in his final appeal against his SRC International Sdn Bhd conviction in the Federal Court.

“Since @NajibRazak terminated services of your law firm, you’ve been acting like a ‘mad man in defending’ Najib,” penned the social media influencer in a recent post on the X platform.

“Is it because the intention that you would not leave Najib was not fulfilled because your services were terminated before the proceedings ended? OR are you trying to make up for any weakness(es) or mistake(s) as the appellant in the case?”

This is when 𝖠𝖿𝗋𝖺𝗅’𝗌 challenged Zaid to reveal “why were your services & your law firm terminated” while hitting out at the latter for his myriads of views “that are mostly unconstructive and more like criticisms coming from a wounded heart”.

“Your tweets clearly show your dissatisfaction with many (if not all) current issues. However, your tweets/writings are nothing more than just pointing fingers and finding fault with the unity govt led by @anwaribrahim,” asserted 𝖠𝖿𝗋𝖺𝗅’𝗌.

“The Madani & Anwar government itself chose to be open and recognise differences of opinion but not to the extent of having to share/agree to all of your opinions.”

Added 𝖠𝖿𝗋𝖺𝗅’𝗌: “In your recently concluded press conference, it is interesting that you said the country is ’kebal dengan sulit’ (immune to confidentiality). Aren’t you not acting like ‘lebih sudu dari kuah’ (more spoon than gravy)?”
