TM ONE inks deal with Korean blockchain company, enhancing digital transactions

TM ONE, the business and public sector solutions arm of Telekom Malaysia Bhd (TM) and its wholly-owned subsidiary company, PT VADS Indonesia (PT VADS) has recently inked an agreement with Korean company, FNS Value Co Ltd (FNSV).

In a joint statement today, the parties said the agreement was to appoint PT VADS as the sole distributor of FNSV’s Blockchain Secure Authentication (BSA) for the Indonesian market.

The signing ceremony was conducted virtually, with TM ONE executive vice-president and chief executive officer Ahmad Taufek Omar, PT VADS chief executive officer Saravanan Belusami and FNSV chief executive officer Jeon Seung Ju representing their respective companies.

“We believe that BSA solution is the answer to security issues of digital transactions, and this is very essential as almost all transactions are done digitally in the current business environment.

“By using BSA, consumers will no longer have to remember their passwords to perform transactions on any devices. The BSA will definitely pave the way for more digital lifestyle and businesses,” said Ahmad Taufek.

BSA is a password-less authentication solution powered by blockchain verification technology that is impossible to penetrate.

“This will benefit all businesses and industries that require strong and trusted authentication services for web, mobile login and secure access for online-based transactions, especially for Internet of Things (IoT) and Smart Services,” the parties said. – Feb 16, 2021.
