PRIME Minister Tan Sri Mahiaddin Yassin has been admitted to a hospital in the Federal capital after he has fallen ill from diarrhoea.
In a two-paragraph statement, the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) said Mahiaddin who has been down with diarrhoea since last night was hospitalised this morning (June 30).
“He is being treated and monitored for his condition,” added the PMO.
Mahiaddin last made a public appearance on Monday (June 28) when he unveiled the Pakej Perlindungan Rakyat dan Pemulihan Ekonomi (People’s Protection and Economic Recovery Package) or PEMULIH to ease the struggle of the public and businesses amid the raging COVID-19 pandemic.
The relief package, worth a massive RM150 bil involves RM10 bil in direct aid to the people depending on their household income. – June 30, 2021
