THE Trapper Group of Companies (Trapper) will be moving into its spanking new HQ at HCK Tower in Q4 of 2023, allowing room for the media conglomerate to expand accordingly.
Trapper co-founders Sivanathan Krishnan and Beverly Koh recently received the keys to the 11,000sq ft-plus office space and were given a tour of the Grade-A building located in Damansara Perdana.
According to Sivanathan, he and his partner chose HCK Tower for their new premises as Trapper had always been based in the Damansara Perdana vicinity.
“Having been based in shop lots since our inception over two decades ago, it was time for us to move into a building that reflects our status and ambitions,” he explained.
“We have grown from a two-man outfit to a company consisting of more than 90 industry professionals and we needed the space to accommodate our growing team.”
Koh also said their decision to relocate and occupy an entire floor was also based on trust it has for the principal – HCK Capital Group (HCK) – knowing it to be a company of repute.
HCK is also occupying the top three floors of the 38-level structure that bears its name.
Handing over the keys on behalf of HCK was its Group Managing Director, Operations and Oversights, Datuk Dr Dennis Ling, who said, “We are honoured to welcome Trapper as our neighbour. Their inclusion on HCK Tower’s roster of occupants will certainly help underline the location’s credentials as the area’s latest business icon.”
“We see this place as being a MidValley of the future,” echoed Sivanathan. “We believe the future potential here is huge.”
HCK Tower has 9,000 covered parking bays and is easily accessible via a number of highways. It offers flexible layouts for leasing to suit offices of differing sizes.
