PAS Kedah Menteri Besar (MB) Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor is unrelenting in his attacks and criticism of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, this time, chiding him over the Perikatan Nasional’s (PN) attempt to overthrow the unity government.
Speaking at the launch of the Perikatan National’s (PN) election machinery in Kedah last night, the MB asked, “Why is he (Anwar) so afraid? Because he knows we have the figures, right? If he doesn’t deny it, people might think it’s just a rumour.”
While Sanusi knows that a constant reference to the PN’s claim that it has the numbers in Parliament will galvanise its troops ahead of the crucial state elections, it is not always having the right effect on voters.
According to Sanusi, when Anwar denies that PN has the numbers, “according to an old adage, it means it’s true.”

The comment is on the dot since PN has so far refused to bring a vote of no-confidence against Anwar in Parliament.
