THE Sabah Women’s Action-Resources Group (SAWO) or any relevant non-governmental organisations (NGOs) in the state should step in to help the wife of Sabah UMNO communications director Ghazalie Ansing if indeed her claim of having been subject to physical abuse by the right-hand man to the state UMNO chief Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin is true.
Additionally, Joanna Karmila Kamin also claimed in a damning six-part YouTube video which surfaced recently that her husband, 40, had also raped her friend Marianna in the wee hours of Jan 30 this year.
Not only had he stopped giving monthly allowances to his wife since October last year, Ghazalie has also lodged a false police report claiming that Joanna ran away from home with RM130,000 on Feb 21 when she had only resorted to doing so as she could no longer tolerate the physical torture and mental abuse by her husband.
“I hope the police personnel who had helped him (Ghazalie) filed his fake report can retract the report and allow me a legal avenue to clear the matter as both of us are now in the midst of divorcing,” pleaded Joanna who once had four stiches on her head after being physically abused by Ghazalie.
Despite not been given money for household expenditure, Joanna claimed that she was harassed by debt collectors who came asking her to repay the gambling debts amassed by her husband who was formerly chairman of Command Tower Technologies, the largest independent tower owners and operators in Malaysia.
“My parents are aware of my desire to file for divorce … on this note, he has lost respect for my parents … imagine if he can behave in that manner to my folks, what more about me?” lamented the mother of three.
“There was even an incident where he created havoc by destroying the properties of my parents during which three cars were destroyed but he acted as if nothing had happened and even falsified the police report that he wasn’t the culprit.”
According to a portal which called itself SabahBigMouth, WhatsApp messages have further revealed that Ghazalie has admitted to be the owner of the Moretune Bistro & Fun Pub in Jalan Tuaran, Kota Kinabalu which sells alcoholic beverages.
“According to recent sources, the Inland Revenue Board (IRB) has sent a notice to Ghazalie regarding hundreds of millions of funds in his account that may be from illegal sources. Previously, it was also alleged that Ghazali’s bank account was frozen by the MACC (Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission) in connection with alleged possession of RM80 mil,” claimed the portal. – May 9, 2023
