YB Ventures appoints ex-Kuala Lumpur, Perlis police chief as chairman

MAIN Market-listed tiles manufacturer and information technology outfit YB Ventures Bhd (previously Yi-Lai Bhd) has appointed ex-cop Datuk Seri Tajudin Md Isa as the group’s non-executive chairman.

Tajudin retired as the director of Bukit Aman’s Logistics & Technology Department after having served the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) for 33 years on Dec 24, 2019. Prior to that, he was the director of the Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department.

“Together with the management of YB Ventures, we welcome Tajudin and are excited to work with him on our board,” commented YB Ventures’ executive director Datuk Au Yee Boon.

“We look forward to his guidance and leadership in driving YB Ventures towards new strides. He will bring with him his vast experience as a leader with high standards of discipline and corporate governance.”

More broadly, Tajudin has a holistic and extensive experience in PDRM by having held various positions during his tenure spanning three decades in the police force.
