Fairview International School joins Vircle to improve coaching methods

AWARD-winning Fairview International School, a certified International Baccalaureate (IB) World School is partnering with digital payments solution Vircle to better prepare students for the world outside of school.

While acknowledging the need for personal and social growth besides the educational aspect alone the school’s principal Dr Vincent Chian wishes to push the boundaries of education through more aggressive innovation in ensuring more students are equipped with the necessary skills when they step out to the working world.

Keeping school up to date with the latest technology, Chian has been planning to implement cashless transactions among students.

By partnering with Vircle, it will teach the students better spending habits and increase their financial literacy and enhance positive character development.

Not to mention, Vircle’s use in classrooms and at home will also allow Fairview International School to further elevate the coaching experience, while providing parents the opportunity to be more involved in their childrens’ education.

The platform will offer a fun learning experience for the users by featuring leaderboards and allowing them to set certain goals and tasks to be completed. The gamification elements to the app will help make the learning process more exciting for the curious mind.

Vircle can also involve the parents in their children’s learning journey by allowing them to provide allowances. The transparency aspect of the app also enables the parents to gain insights on the consumption behaviour of the users.

Approaching education differently

The Fairview International School has been dedicated to prioritising education not just academically, but also emphasises on producing all-rounded students.

Some of the methods used to achieve this is by coaching the students in preparation for the various challenges in life through their skill development programmes, outdoor education and small coaching groups facilitated by a trained coach, to name a few.

Its academic curriculum involves innovative training and development strategies using the latest effective and well-researched pedagogies implemented in recreational, cultural and social programmes suitable for students of diverse backgrounds and learning needs in the local and international community. – May 19, 2021
