A STAUNCH opposition backer has lamented that “Malays are being victimised in their own backyard while the infidels are being protected” while expressing disbelief that a single police report was what it took for embattled former health minister-turned-podcast co-host Khairy Jamaluddin (KJ) to be questioned by the police.
Further alluding that this is indeed a “catastrophe for the nation”, Ronin Malaya (@RoninMalaya) fumed that this paled in comparison to the 182 police reports that had been lodged against Youth and Sports Minister Hannah Yeoh in connection with her book Becoming Hannah: A Personal Journey.
“It’s really unfortunate for my country when no @PDRMsia (Royal Malaysia Police) took no action even after 182 reports were filed bur SWIFTLY acted on one police report?” berated Ronin Malaya in a recent post on X.
Memang sial la negara ku bila 182 laporan tidak diambil tindakan oleh @PDRMsia tapi CEPAT bertindak keatas 1 laporan polis?
Dimana integriti @PDRMsia kita? Dilencana ada sebut “berintegriti”, nyata itu hanya penipuan lagi..sedih tengok negara macam ni. pic.twitter.com/Zg3DB0GBLe— Ronin Malaya (@RoninMalaya) January 14, 2025
“Where is the integrity of our @PDRMsia? Your badge mentions “act with integrity” but it’s really just a lie … I feel so sad for my country.”
Playing a racial card, Ronin Malaya further insinuated the injustice stemming from DAP being invisible by attaching a seemingly PAS propaganda which claimed that both Yeoh and Housing and Local Government Minister Nga Kor Ming “are still not arrested but there was a case of a person arrested at 3am”.
Editor’s note: This was in reference to Kedah Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor who was arrested by the police at 3am on July 18, 2023 to ensure that he attended a court hearing that morning for having insulted the Selangor ruler and the Selangor Council of the Royal Court
“Why are Malays oppressed when they speak out while the infidels are protected? Are these infidels more special than the Malays? Why do we allow our country be like this?”
For the record, the one single report against KJ was filed by Datuk Suraya Yaacob who is the political secretary of Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Law and Institutional Reform) Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said on Jan 10 after the three-term Rembau MP accused Azalina of “being complicit in concealing details” in the royal addendum saga.
As it is, Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain said the police recorded Khairy’s statement on Monday (Jan 13) after two police reports were lodged against the sacked UMNO member following which the cops have opened an investigation on the matter.
As for Yeoh who is also the Segambut MP, Kuala Lumpur police chief Comm Datuk Rusdi Mohd Isa said police had recorded the statements of 59 individuals after 182 police reports were lodged on the thorny “Ambassador of God” calling.
“However, we have not recorded her (Yeoh) statement yet. We will schedule it soon,” he had stated on Jan 8.
The floodgate was opened wide after the Kuala Lumpur High Court dismissed the DAP lawmaker’s defamation suit against former inspector-general of police (IGP) Tan Sri Musa Hassan who had alleged that Yeoh was attempting to turn Malaysia into a Christian nation.
Interestingly. It has been revealed that at least 90% of those who filed police report against Yeoh’s had never read her autobiography but did so based on hearsay or herd mentality. – Jan 17, 2025
